I'm not a developer. But I've built and shipped real products — a full AI blog engine, a listing optimizer API, and more — all built with AI coding assistants. Some are already up for sale on Gumroad.

That's what NonDevBuilds is about. I got into AI coding after hearing about it on TWiT.tv podcasts — and when I went looking for reviews and guides, everything was written for developers. Every review assumed you already knew what a "linter" was or had opinions about TypeScript vs JavaScript. I didn't need that. I needed to know: can I actually build something with this tool if I don't know how to code?

The Mission

NonDevBuilds is an honest, first-person take on AI development tools from someone who isn't a developer. Every review is based on real experience — I actually use these tools to build and ship products. No theoretical takes. No regurgitated press releases.

Here's what you'll find:

• Reviews — Detailed, honest breakdowns of AI coding tools from a non-dev perspective
• Build Logs — Real stories of building products from scratch with AI, including the messy parts
• Guides — Plain-English explanations of technical concepts you'll run into along the way

Transparency

Some posts may contain affiliate links in the future. If you purchase a tool through one of those links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This would help keep the site running, but it will never influence my opinions. If a tool is bad, I'll say so — even if there's money on the table.
